 Project Examples

Analyzed schedule delays to a 350,000 square foot urban retail center on behalf of owner.  Reviewed baseline schedule, schedule updates and as-built schedule data.  Determined project critical path and assessed responsibility for delays to the critical path.  The owner was awarded liquidated damages for the entire delay period at arbitration.

Analyzed contractor delay claims relating to the construction of a $160 million, 185,000 square foot museum.  Reviewed claims, assisted counsel in obtaining supporting documentation, and recalculated the subcontractors' home and field office overhead claims.

Performed schedule analysis and claims avoidance consultation to a university during the construction of a 400,000 square foot biology and chemistry research center.  Met with project personnel prior to construction and suggested documentation and procedures to track potential claim issues.  During construction, reviewed monthly schedule updates and met periodically with the owner and owner's representative to discuss potential delay issues and schedule modifications.  Prepared illustrative exhibits for the owner's use in meetings with the contractor.  There were no construction claims filed or delays to the planned completion.

Developed documentation and procedures to determine as-built completion dates for the construction of six residential buildings, an 825-seat dining room, and a 450-seat auditorium on a college campus.
